Klimahouse takes place every year in the Italian Alpine city of Bolzano. This exhibition and accompanying events, conferences and debates is the largest Italian fair dedicated to energy-efficient and sustainable construction – a topic that is very interesting to InnoRenew CoE researchers.

Dr Iztok Šušteršič, Sustainable Building with Renewable Materials research group leader, joined fellow InnoRenew CoE researchers in attending this year’s Klimahouse. Dr Šušteršič also gave a presentation about seismic design of wooden buildings, highlighting the new InnoRenew CoE complex, during the organized conference.

Klimahouse hosted more than 450 exhibitors, including producers of wooden doors and windows as well as manufacturers of acoustic materials and isolations. These products were especially interesting to InnoRenew CoE researchers as creation of the new InnoRenew CoE acoustic laboratory is in full swing.
