The European Forest-based Sector Technology Platform (FTP) held its Annual Conference 2019, “Launching the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda 2030 of the European forest-based sector”, at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland, 27 November 2019.

Dr Andreja Kutnar,  InnoRenew CoE director, and Dr Črtomir Tavzes, researcher, represented the InnoRenew CoE at the gathering where European forest-based sector policymakers, researchers and representatives discussed future challenges and priorities of the new research strategy (SIRA 2030).

Dr Kutnar gave a talk, “Concrete jungle or forest city”, during the conference’s “Changemakers session”.

While in Finland, Dr Kutnar and Dr Tavzes also met with Faksawat Poohphajai, InnoRenew CoE assistant researcher and joint PhD student  currently studying at Aalto University.
