Dr Ana Slavec, consulting statistician and researcher at the InnoRenew CoE, visited the Department of Wood Science and Technology at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology at Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic, on 4 November 2019.

Dr Slavec had a lecture on research data management for data on renewable materials and products. She introduced to researchers that attended her lecture concepts such as data management plans, FAIR data and repositories. Moreover, she presented the possibilities of involvement with Research Data Alliance (RDA).

This was her third visit as RDA ambassador for Engineering/Renewable Materials, after the FCBA institute in France in September and the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems at Aalto University in Finaland in October
