Exhibition Papiro-logía in Krško

Between 3-20 September 2019, you can visit the Papiro-logía exhibition at the Krško Cultural Centre to admire innovative products made from paper and based on the principles of circular design.

Papiro-logía / Circular Design and Interior Uses of Paper presents innovative work of master’s students from the University of Ljubljana industrial design programme, demonstrating the possibilities for using paper in the interior and effective solutions for transition to a circular economy.

Papiro-logía was created within the framework of the InnoRenew project, in cooperation with two project partners, Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region (RRA LUR) and the Pulp and Paper Institute, together with the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of the University of Ljubljana (ALUO) and the company DS Smith. The latter expressed the wish to present results of this interdisciplinary collaboration in their local environment and, therefore, invited the organizers to set up the exhibition in Krško with the official opening on 3 September 2019.

Alenka Knez, manager of PackRight Centre in the DS Smith company, Lilijana Madjar, director of RRA LUR and assoc. prof. Jure Miklavc, ALUO, joined the official opening ceremony.
