The Faculty of Design and Technologies of Furniture and Interior, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia), organized its 4th International Conference, “Wood Technology & Product Design”, which took place 4-7 September 2019 at the University Congress Centre in Ohrid.

Dr Václav Sebera, researcher in the InnoRenew CoE’s Renewable Materials Composites group, attended the conference and presented results of his research on finite element model of adhesive bond between spruce lamelas loaded in mode II, including crack propagation and elasto-plastic material model.

“The conference was a good opportunity to meet with professionals from the field of wood technology and set ground for further research collaborations,” said Dr Sebera.
