On 30 September 2019, the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, in collaboration with the InnoRenew CoE, Institut “Jožef Stefan” and HAWK University of Applied Science and Arts (Göttingen, Germany) will host First Slovene Plasma Day in Ljubljana.

At the one-day workshop, participants will get to know what plasmas are and how to use them in different industries. This technology is environmentally friendly, energy efficient and avoids the use of harmful and polluting chemicals.

Speakers will share their knowledge and experience and present the latest industrial applications, including materials engineering and surface processing. There will also be the possibility to test and treat workshop participants’ materials.

In parallel with the workshop, organizers will host an industrial fair, which will provide a wide overview of industrially available technology.
