Director of the InnoRenew CoE, Dr Andreja Kutnar, was in Brussels on Monday, 18 February 2019, where she met with European Commissioner for Mobility and Transport Violeta Bulc.

Together, they discussed current challenges in science. Dr Kutnar presented her ideas and vision on the future of science, underscoring the need to focus on better placement of new scientific areas within existing fields, foster interdisciplinarity and increase youth involvement. Commissioner Bulc was impressed by these words and noted that she could not agree more.

Dr Kutnar also talked about the InnoRenew CoE and its research work, inviting Commissioner Bulc to visit the institute and its scientists. Dr Kutnar and the InnoRenew CoE look forward to hosting her in Koper.
