The 4rd edition of Adriatic Wood Days (AWD) was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia at the beginning of December 2018.

AWD comprises four thematically related, yet programmatically separate, international conferences in the field of forestry, wood processing, energy from wood, furniture production and creative industries.

At this year’s event, participants discussed different topics related to furnishing the interior of hotels, product design, greater use of wood in construction, timber trade, wood products marketing and the future of biomass. Moreover, they organized two workshops about organizing the sector through clusters and associations and about the importance of quality and certification.

The InnoRenew CoE researcher Dr Črtomir Tavzes presented our research institute. He was strengthening our network and preparing materials for common work on upcoming project proposals.
