The International Forest Products Congress – ORENKO 2018 took place during 26th and 29th September in Turkey with the main focus on the Forefront Research in The Field of Wood Science and Engineering.

An interesting discussion occurred between the participants of the congress on current trends in the field of forest products, and various experts exchanged their past experiences and expertise. The director of the InnoRenew CoE Dr Andreja Kutnar and the researcher Dr Jakub Sandak joined the conference as they were among the keynote speakers. Moreover, they chaired the session about adhesives, coating and finishing wood products.

At the rich social and networking programme they had a chance to encounter many people, to make new connections, and to present our research institute, InnoRenew CoE, to the wide audience in Turkey.
