The Research Group Leader of sustainable building with renewable materials Dr Iztok Šušteršič appeared in a contribution of the educational program of the Slovenian national television channel »Ugriznimo znanost«.

Dr Šušteršič described the seismic design of wood construction, and its importance in new construction and in preserving cultural heritage objects. Moreover, he explained how buildings constructed with cross-laminated timber (CLT) performed better than other types of construction during seismic testing.
