On Tuesday, 8th May 2018, our Deputy Director and the Research group leader of the Human Health in the Built Environment Dr Michael Burnard will present at the conference Circular Economy in Tourism in South East Europe. The conference is organized by The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of Slovenia in partnership with the European Commission.

The conference will focus on innovations that support the transition to a circular economy in tourism and aims to create a platform for exchange of best practices and build new partnerships among institutions and the private sector. Mike will present about building design with REED to improve visitors well-being.

The conference will take place at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana at 8:30.
