Dr Iztok Šušteršič attended a two-day COST Action FP1402 meeting held at Aalto University in Espoo. He took part in the Working Group dealing with connections in timber structures. All the outcomes of the FP1402 COST Action are of crucial importance, since they also serve as quality input for the new version of Eurocode 5 and 8 design standards that are currently in their final preparation stages.

While in Helsinki Iztok also met with Mohammad Awais, an InnoRenew CoE employee, who is currently doing his PhD at the Aalto University under the supervision of Lauri Rautkari.
