In the beginning of march, Dr Ana Slavec, the consulting statistician at InnoRenew CoE, attended the  S4 Small Sample Size Solutions conference at the Utrecht University. The aim of the conference is to bring together international researchers to provide solutions for small sample size, to share information, learn about new developments and discuss solutions for sample size problems.

Dr Slavec actively participated in the conference by presenting the topic of “Determining the number of replicates in experimental studies with wood samples: how low can we go?”

This year’s conference was attended by approximately 100 researchers.
