The COST Action SHELD-ON – Indoor living space improvements: Smart Habitat for the Elderly is a science and technology network of relevant actors from academic, research and industry sectors. It will address the issues of the ageing population in Europe by promoting healthy and safe ageing.

We are proud to announce that our assistant researcher, Mike Burnard, became the Vice Chair of the Action. Congratulations!

We are looking forward to hearing about the ongoing work and the results, since the ergonomic design of the built environment is one of InnoRenew CoE key research areas.
