Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew’s Acting Director and InnoRenew researcher, Mike Burnard took part in the International Wood Recycling Workshop in Hannover, which took place on 23^rd May 2017.

The workshop was part of the EU-funded project, CaReWood, and took place within the framework of LIGNA – the world’s leading trade fair for machinery, plant and tools for the woodworking and timber-processing industry. CaReWood stands for Cascading Recovered Wood and, as its name suggests, the objective of the project is to explore the use of waste wood as a raw material source for recycled wooden products.

As part of the workshop, Andreja Kutnar and Mike Burnard presented about Optimization of reverse logistics for recovered wood in Europe.
