David Kodarin is an assistant project manager at InnoRenew CoE.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Ljubljana with specialization in ecology, urbanism and infrastructure. During his studies, he did study exchanges in the Czech Republic, Spain and France. He wrote his thesis about ecovillages and prepared a project for a potential ecovillage in the Slovenian coastal area.
After his studies, he gained several engineering experiences in Luxemburg, Germany and Belgium as well as in Slovenia. Moreover, he started his own company that offered wooden outdoor composting toilets, KAKIS, but he later sold his shares of the company. He also built a wooden tiny house on wheels, houzEKO, which he is using as a second house. He is also president of Društvo Pritisk, a tourist and sport association.
In his free time, he likes to hike, play basketball or football, jog or do any other sport activities. He is always ready to learn new skills and new knowledge.
